We liked Muntri Grove. If you like the busy area, then it would be a good base for you. Plus, we were 15 mins by foot from hin bus depot...

Would recommend the hotel. Booked a deluxe king room with air conditioner, a seating area and a clothes-hanging unit. We stayed for 6 nights here, loved Georgetown district. A great selection of fab food.

Within a walking distance of komtar and other tourist spots. Don't forget to explore Georgetown neighbourhood. Room met needs. Free Wi Fi throughout the hotel: D

The convenience of getting to gurney and being not far from pinang peranakan mansion. The staff were helpful and the building was renovated.
